The Round Table.

This round table has been given a sophisticated new look. The tabletop was carefully sanded and finished with clear wax, followed by dark wax to achieve a rich, burl-like effect. The rest of the table—including the underside of the tabletop—was painted in ‘Noir’ Chalk Finish paint and sealed with black wax for added depth and protection.
The result is a stunning, durable piece that combines both style and functionality, making it a perfect addition to elevate your home decor.

This is a true piece of history in many aspects.
This craftsmanship was such a niche and given that the grass tree is protected there are a very limited number still around these days. A true epitome of Western Australia bushland and a rare antique to cherish.
It has just been refitted by a licensed electrician with new electrical wiring and light fitting.

Do you do commission pieces?
No, not at this stage.
Can you collect an old piece of furniture I no longer want?
Yes. This is ideal for me and convenient for you. No time wasting on gumtree or marketplace. Just send me some photos and a description and I’ll see if it’s something I can work with.
I have a precious antique piece of furniture that I want restored. Is this something you do?
Yes we can however we do have skill limits to antique restorations and because of this it would be a would be our discretion to either restore the piece or refer you to a professional who specialises in antique restoration until a time comes for when I feel our experience would be the right fit for the piece of furniture.
Is it cheaper for me to do it myself then pay you?
This is completely your decision. You will need take into account time, materials, equipment and the overall finish you wish to achieve. I will be posting more reels and blogging about this soon so you may find this information helpful.
