Meet our husband and wife business team passionate about preserving the beauty and history of antique furniture and repurposing while reducing waste and promoting sustainability, but it goes beyond that. Taryn and Mike are parents to 5 gorgeous Children who they want to provide a simplistic, organic, country-feel lifestyle and legacy for.
Their vision for the future includes a beautifully designed store that not only showcases their refinished antique furniture and homewares but offers a home in the country to visit that is self sustainable. They want to create a space where customers can shop for unique and eco-friendly furniture pieces while also enjoying a delicious meal made with fresh ingredients. A completely bespoke eco-friendly shopping experience for their customers.

I am delighted to have you here. I’m the Founder of Interior Avenue. Born in the City, raised in the Country and now residing in Perth, Western Australia I bring you the very best in heart & home styling in transformations reusing furniture, decor and creating artwork
My passion for continually needing to be creative is on a whole other level. As a passionate Designer & Stylist I pride myself on exceptional, friendly customer service backed with expertise in woodwork, painting, designing and fun creations.

Mike here,
Having grown up as a child in remote areas of the Pilbara and Kimberley, I have a strong connection to land and highly value sustainability and what we can do to reduce landfill and future planning of a simpler life of growth and sustenance that we can create.
For complete transparency, I am the heavy lifter (literally) behind the hands and heart of Taryn’s creative empire. Creativity is not my strong point but I am meticulously precise and all over the quality control of our business. My level of accuracy and attention to detail and organisation is also my strength.
I cannot wait to build on a career that forges a new way for the community, a new lifestyle, a new home and hope that many enjoy the Dad jokes along the way.

Doreen and Edward ‘Ray’ Keenan, Taryn’s late Grandparents who owned York Gums Bed & Breakfast in the wheatbelt many years ago. Ray rebuilt this Ford himself with Taryn sitting along side him as a pre teen pretending to use the stick shift and drive the empty carcass.
